Intro
Beginning two months prior to her clients wedding, Marie of Marie Chelsea Events assessed and decided to implement CalUp for a large, complex, 400+ guest wedding in Seattle.
As this was her first wedding using CalUp, Marie took advantage of CalUp Concierge, entrusting our team to assist for the CalUp setup and throughout the wedding.
As a result, everything came together smoothly, and CalUp specifically helped with guest communication and coordination.
Guest Messaging
In addition to each guest receiving a personalized wedding program, text messaging was used extensively for detailed rehearsal reminders and timings, transportation and parking updates in an urban setting, processional details, and more.
All guests, even those who did not have the CalUp Guest App on their phone, received the text message updates, ensuring that everyone knew where to be and when.
After the wedding, Marie was able thank all guests on behalf of the couple for attending the wedding.
Guest Specific Wedding Events
Photoshoot Coordination: Three separate photoshoots, all with different participants, were coordinated seamlessly using CalUp's personalized wedding programs and event specific messaging.
Rehearsal: The large group of rehearsal participants, as a distinct group, were able to access Rehearsal specific information, including dress code, timing, and best places to park.
Candid Photo Sharing
Throughout the wedding, guests were able to upload their photos seamlessly on the CalUp Guest App. Following the wedding, the couple then had access to all the candid photos guests shared throughout the wedding, including the Rehearsal, Ceremony, and Reception, all in one place.
